Brow Shaping

Eyebrow shaping is an essential aspect of beauty that defines and frames the face, enhancing your overall appearance. Two of the most popular methods for achieving perfectly shaped brows are plucking and waxing, each with its own benefits and techniques.

Plucking

Plucking, or tweezing offers precision, allowing for meticulous shaping and control over the desired brow shape. It’s especially effective for removing stray hairs and refining the arch of the brow.

Plucking is a great option for those who prefer a more gradual approach, as it allows for minor adjustments over time. However, it can be time-consuming and may cause slight discomfort, so having patience is key.

Waxing

Waxing, on the other hand, involves applying warm wax to the area and placing a cloth strip over it. Once the wax cools slightly, the strip is pulled away rapidly, removing multiple hairs at once from the root. This method is particularly efficient for larger areas and can create a clean, smooth finish.

Waxing offers longer-lasting results compared to plucking, typically lasting anywhere from three to six weeks. However, it can be painful for some individuals and may cause redness or irritation for those with sensitive skin.

Choosing the Right Method

The choice between plucking and waxing often comes down to personal preference, pain tolerance and desired results. Many people opt for a combination of both methods, using waxing for the initial shaping and plucking for touch-ups and maintenance.

Regardless of the method you choose, professional shaping can significantly enhance your brow’s natural beauty, providing a polished, well-defined look that complements your facial features.

Brow Lamination

Brow lamination is a beauty treatment designed to achieve perfectly groomed, fuller-looking eyebrows. This innovative procedure involves a chemical solution that helps to realign and set the brow hairs in a desired shape, enhancing their natural texture and fullness. Ideal for those with unruly, sparse or uneven brows, brow lamination provides a long-lasting effect that results in a sleek, polished appearance. The process typically takes about 45 minutes and, with proper aftercare, results can last up to eight weeks. Brow lamination not only improves the overall look of the brows but also allows for greater versatility in styling, making it a must-try treatment for anyone looking to elevate their beauty routine.

Patch Test Required

A patch test is required at least 24–48 hours before your appointment.

This is an essential safety step to ensure you do not have any sensitivity or allergic reaction to the tint. Even if you’ve had lamination before elsewhere, a patch test must still be carried out prior to treatment with us.

Your safety and comfort are always our priority.

What is the brow lamination process?

When you decide to have your brows laminated, here's what you can expect throughout the process.

Initial Consultation

  • We will discuss your desired brow shape, style and any concerns you may have, ensuring you understand the process.

Treatment Steps

  1. Cleansing. The brow area is cleaned to remove any makeup or oils, ensuring the solution adheres properly.

  2. Application of the Lamination Solution. A special chemical solution is applied to the brow hairs, which will soften them and allow for repositioning.

  3. Setting the Brows. After a brief waiting period, the technician will brush your brow hairs into the desired shape and apply a setting solution to hold them in place.

  4. Nourishing Treatment. A conditioning treatment is often applied at the end to nourish the hair and promote healthy brows.

  5. Tint. Brows are tinted with your desired colour to achieve a healthy, full appearance.

Sensation and Duration

  • During the treatment, you may feel a slight tingling sensation, but it shouldn’t be uncomfortable. The entire process usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes.

Aftercare

  • You’ll receive advice on how to care for your brows post-treatment, including avoiding moisture and heavy makeup for at least 24 hours.

Results

  • The outcome will be visibly fuller, more defined brows that can last between six to eight weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare routine.

Overall, brow lamination is a straightforward and effective way to achieve a polished look with minimal maintenance.
